HOW TO SUPPORT YOUR BODY THROUGH YOUR THIRD TRIMESTER

The birth of your new bub is just around the corner, so now is the time to start planning your birth and continuing to prepare your body for that big day!

Here is some guidance to keep you pushing through and to make sure you are as prepared as can be!

What should I be eating?

We recommend Mummalyte for labour, Mumma Bars for labour snacks, and a Mumma smoothie for post-birth. 

We also recommend to sip Mummalyte throughout your labour and birth, then days post-birth as your thirst and energy will require it, breastfeeding is thirsty work.

Preparing

It is a great time to start making some plans booking a birth class @hypnobirthing, @calmbirth or @yogababy are great.

This is also a great time to start putting together your hospital bag, here are some of the essentials we recommend:

Nappies, Padded underwear ( disposable ) 3 Nursing Bras, 3 tracksuit pants and tops, 4 sets of jumpsuits for baby and 3 wraps, toiletries and hair ties.

Breastfeeding

At the end of your third trimester, it will be a quick jump from being pregnant to now having your beautiful bub in your arms, now it is time for breastfeeding. Just before breastfeeding, you can start to produce colostrum which is a breast fluid. You can start to produce this from 37 weeks plus as it can promote growth and health in newborns and infants.
