HOW TO SUPPORT YOUR BODY THROUGH YOUR SECOND TRIMESTER

It's all getting real! By trimester 2 you are well into your pregnancy, experiencing those changes including the amazing baby bump!

So what support should we be looking for through our second trimester?

What should I be eating?

Include lots of fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains, some whole-fat dairy products, and lots of sources of protein, such as lean meat, fish, eggs, or dried peas or beans, nut seeds, and greens.

Exercise 

Exercise is highly recommended because it is so beneficial through your pregnancy and has been proven to improve your mood, energy, and sleep. Things like palliates, yoga, and swimming are gentle and so great for meeting like-minded mummas.

Supporters

Finding a chiropractor and naturopath are great supporters for your pregnancy at this stage. A Chiro will align your hips help create a great birth path like a landing pad for labour day. A naturopath will keep you on track and support your overall health, so you and baby are fighting fit.
