HOW TO PREPARE YOUR BODY FOR PREGNANCY

What you eat matters

You are what you eat, has never been more true than for women looking to conceive. It is important that we feed our bodies the right nutrition to support our changing hormones, growing bodies, and improve our reproductive system. Nothing beats wholefood nutrition.

Expectations vs Reality

Ladies, the reality is, it can take up to 2 years to naturally conceive and hold a pregnancy to full term. We know this may sound like a long time, but be mindful not to place unrealistic pressures and stress on you and your partner. Sometimes your body needs to recalibrate to prepare itself and this will not happen overnight.

Balance the Body

No matter how many blogs, books or articles you read about baby diets and things you should and shouldn't be eating; even though some nutritional changes may need to be made, this process needs to be gradual and balanced to your body. Avoid making dramatic changes that you simply cannot sustain for the long term. Make gradual tweaks.
